4. Hygiene

There are written instructions for hygiene and cleanliness in line with current science, in particular the Dental Chamber's 2025 hygiene regulation, and with the Health Quality and Medical Devices Acts. There are no plants in the treatment room; animals other than assistance dogs are not allowed in. A person responsible for hygiene is named. Waste is disposed of properly § 5 no. 4 QSV. Section 3 explains what the hygiene regulation requires in detail.

5. Dental and technical equipment

Depending on the treatments offered, at least: a dental unit with lighting, motors with water and air supply, suction, hand- and contra-angle pieces, burs and grinders; dental and surgical instruments; instrument storage; sterilisation; X-ray; material storage; emergency equipment.

Also: device manuals are available, "required inspections take place as prescribed", and the manufacturer's information is available for medical devices § 5 no. 5 QSV. Sections 4 and 5 explain which inspections those are.

6. General emergency preparedness

The Dental Chamber provides a template emergency plan (emergency plan for the ÖZÄK-QSV 2022). On the 2017–2019 sample visits, the emergency kit was once only borrowed and once missing altogether (lesson 1.4).

The health minister's regulation with the criteria from 2028 (§ 9b(2) GQG) had not been issued on that day. Not covered are insurer contracts, billing, data protection in detail and the employer's duties under the Worker Protection Act in detail; there is a separate course on those at aschg.globalapps.top.
